Events are always happening
There are occasions when we can feel so overwhelmed by events that life appears confusing
We doubt the power that we have to be able to navigate through and to change what appears to be happening
We might reminisce about earlier times when we experienced (or believed that we did) what it was like to be magnificent, potent and powerful in the world
Are we doing this because we believe that by tapping into the memory (and feeling) of how things used to be that it will give us energy to leverage ourselves out of our present discomfort or conflict?
Looking to the past is not to trust in one’s capabilities in the present
Perhaps we don’t like who we’ve become (or are becoming) and we believe that life should be different than it is?
Either way, it is a reflection that we are not resonating with our truth, or else we would know that we do not transform events in the world through wishful thinking or escapism, nor by acting as if we could
Power resides in the present moment only and does not gather momentum from one’s past
